Make your career the starting point of a shared project

Joining Lutecia Care means building, from your very first years, a path towards partnership, medical responsibility and technical progress within a network 100% dedicated to nuclear medicine.

New generation

Become a driving force in the specialty: join the collective that gives you the means to match your ambitions

Why join us? Five reasons that make the difference.

You access equity without waiting years in practice.

Access to partnership and equity from the moment you join, in a model designed to remove one of the main obstacles of traditional private practice: young physicians becoming shareholders in their own practice only late in their careers.

You become a full partner.

Genuine decision-making autonomy from day one over your medical practice, your pace of work and your clinical choices, in a network that refuses to reduce young practitioners to mere providers of image reporting.

You benefit from dedicated support.

Specific support with investment, financing and structuring your project, to remove the economic barriers that too often prevent new generations from taking over or developing a centre.

You progress within an intergenerational collective.

Knowledge passed on between experienced practitioners and the new generation, tele-expertise, a medical and scientific committee and a medical community that has already been largely renewed, all supporting rapid and lasting skills development.

You build a well-rounded career.

Clinical research, innovative protocols, continuing education and freedom of choice in where you set up, including in catchment areas where the presence of a young nuclear physician can make a decisive difference.

Testimonial

“In the traditional model, you often have to wait years before you can become a partner. Here, I am not simply a contracted physician: as president of an SEL, I take part in decisions and I work with recent equipment and a team that I chose. Beyond my own centre, I became a shareholder in a network 100% dedicated to nuclear medicine, right from the start, with the group's support to finance my investment. I have thus joined a community of nuclear physicians that gives me the opportunity to play an active part in the development of my specialty.”

Yes: access to equity is open from the moment you join, without requiring years of prior practice.

Several solutions exist depending on the partner's profile and history. Generally, a professional loan, either standard or with bullet repayment, provides access to equity with monthly payments compatible with early-career income. Lutecia Care has advisers to support this process, and the doctors who are already partners are of course available to share their experience.

A period of locum work is required before joining an SEL: it lets you get to know the departments and their ways of working, and lets both sides get acquainted. It is a good time to show your motivation to take part in the medical project and to demonstrate your clinical qualities. This locum period is not meant to last: a candidate who convinces the host team will quickly be offered a partnership plan.

In private practice, every investment carries a degree of risk, inherent in its return. But becoming a partner early guarantees that your work bears fruit immediately, beyond your medical remuneration.

Partnership opportunities depend on local medical projects, the installation of heavy equipment, the growth of activity and any upcoming retirements. A choice is therefore sometimes possible, but remains subject to the needs of each SEL. New opportunities do open up regularly, however.

Mentoring is a core value at Lutecia Care. A young nuclear medicine physician facing a difficulty has several ways to resolve it: locally, with more experienced peers, but also through the group's various forums for exchange, which allow clinical cases to be shared, or within the internal medical committee.

Whether through continuing medical education, attending conferences, regular meetings of the internal medical committee or case sharing, developing your skills is not only possible but very strongly encouraged.

Remuneration is of course discussed early in the partnership process. Arrangements may vary slightly from one SEL to another, but becoming a partner is always significantly more attractive in terms of remuneration than locum work, as well as guaranteeing working time.

The medical project is defined by the doctors of each SEL, who draw it up and apply it independently. A new partner's practice will therefore need to fit smoothly and compatibly within that project, as in any department that aims to practise high-quality nuclear medicine.

There are several ways to get to know the group: meet us at a conference, write to us via the website's contact form, or simply call the departments and talk to the doctors. Lutecia Care is first and foremost a medical project, and the best way to be convinced of that is to talk to its doctors!
