About us

Designed with nuclear physicians, for nuclear physicians

Lutecia Care was born of physicians' determination to build a model centred on them, one that preserves their freedom of action and collectively gives them greater means to practise, to undertake and to advance their discipline.

Our origins

A medical intention
that became a collective project

Lutecia Care was born of a meeting between nuclear physicians and an entrepreneur specialising in healthcare, who shared one ambition: to build a model capable of supporting the development of nuclear medicine while preserving its independence for the long term.

The former know the challenges facing their discipline intimately. Setting up in practice and accessing capital remain particularly difficult for young physicians, while opportunities to create new practices are still limited. At the same time, the specialty is undergoing a profound transformation, driven by ever more sophisticated technologies and the emergence of new therapeutic prospects that remain largely out of reach for private practice.

The latter has been involved in, and has invested in, healthcare groups in France and internationally for many years. From this experience came a firm conviction: the lasting success of a healthcare company rests above all on an ambitious medical project, fully rooted in its public health mission, and on a deep alignment of interests between physicians, their teams and all stakeholders.

From this meeting came an unprecedented model, designed with physicians and for physicians, whose principles were developed, tested and refined with more than 40 nuclear physicians of every generation, before Lutecia Care was even founded.

The project quickly brought together partner physicians, experienced practitioners and representatives of the new generation alike, as well as a first-rate team combining complementary expertise in management, organisational structuring and business development.

Together, they share the conviction that by uniting skills, ambitions and resources, it is possible to build excellent, innovative and lastingly independent nuclear medicine, for the benefit of as many patients as possible.

Our ambition

100% nuclear medicine, 100% excellence

We are building a leading network devoted exclusively to nuclear medicine. A network able to bring together the best physicians, carry ambitious medical projects and support the growth of the discipline. This ambition translates into four objectives:

Build the leading player in private nuclear medicine

Serving medical excellence and the standing of the discipline.

Cultivate an entrepreneurial model

Able to accelerate the development of the centres and bring new projects to life.

Involve physicians and staff in the project's success

By giving them access to equity and to the value created collectively.

Preserve the independence of nuclear medicine for the long term

By building a player strong enough to invest in its future and defend its interests.

For Lutecia Care, growth is not an end in itself. It is the means of giving our physicians greater strength.

Our model

Medical and operational excellence, without compromise

The strength of a group, the independence of physicians.

Lutecia Care was built around a simple principle: putting the resources of a group at the service of physicians, without taking their place in leading the medical project.

Partner physicians

Physicians are intended to become partners in their centre and shareholders of Lutecia Care. They thus take part in an entrepreneurial venture that goes beyond the scale of their own practice, and share in the value created collectively.

Strong medical governance

Medical direction is set by the physicians. Across the network, through the Internal Medical Committee, they share their expertise, define medical priorities together and contribute to the projects that shape the future of Lutecia Care.

Autonomous centres

Each centre keeps its identity, its local roots and its freedom of medical action. The network does not seek to standardise practice, but to create the conditions for everyone to progress.

Expert professionals running operations

Finance, human resources, regulatory affairs, information systems, procurement, development: each area is entrusted to experienced professionals who have already built and grown demanding organisations. Their mission is to make the centres stronger, so that physicians can devote themselves fully to medicine.
